Somewhere: For Us
The story so far
Our Launch Issue,
The very first 84-page issue of our magazine launched in November 2020, in print and online. The response was incredible and has helped us create the forthcoming bumper-size Issue Two.
Issue one features interviews with Jackie Kay, Annie Wallace and Dean Atta. Other features include Gentleman Jack's Great Tour of Scotland, Lavender Menace and plenty of new and emerging talent from our LGBTQ+ creative community.
Our very special 98-page Issue Two released on Sunday February 14th. The cover is a special collaboration with Beano Studios to celebrate LGBT History Month, focusing on young LGBTQ+ people.
The issue also features interviews with River City star David Paisley, RuPaul's Drag Race icon Peppermint, trailblazing playwright Jo Clifford and special features about Scotland's comic connections. We flick through Stanley Baxter's photo album, catch up with Lavender Menace and complete Anne Lister's Great Tour of Scotland.

Our bumper Pride Issue released on May 17th, on International Day against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT), featuring a special Seaside Pride themed cover and brimmed with Pride memories, music and much much more!
The issue also features interviews with Lucy Spraggan and Damian Barr, along with articles about new work from David Hockney, and new gallery exhibitions for Joan Eardley's work in Edinburgh and Night Fever at the V&A in Dundee. As ever, we spend time with the Lavender Menaces and put a spotlight on LGBTQ+ and ally businesses making a difference.
